We've been presenting the best in live stand-up comedy for over 17 years. When The Glee Club Birmingham opened it's doors in 1994 it was the first professional club to present regular shows outside of London.
Our regular 4 act line-ups present the finest live acts from the top of the UK and International circuit, from household names to the freshest new talent. Each of these shows features one compere, who will be your comedy guide for the night. They will introduce 3 top acts who will do their finest to rip the lid off the room.
We don't stop there - in addition to our year round, regular comedy nights we also bring you the best live touring comedy shows, run Edinburgh Previews every summer and it's not unusual to see a huge star trying out some new stuff on one of our stages.
Glee Club Birmingham
Two fantastic comedy rooms - the Main Room and the Studio. Think of the Main Room as the Daddy; theatre style seating with tables, a bar and for most shows you can fill your boots from the club menu...every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Then we also have the Studio, a cosy, smaller space with theatre style seating and a bar (alas no food in here, just 100% pure comedy). During the winter months the Studio holds our second show every Saturday.
Glee Club Cardiff
Just the one room but boy is it a corker. A purpose built comedy venue, it is without doubt one of the finest on the circuit. Loved by comics and crowds alike; relax in the theatre style seating with tables, a huge bar and it's own veritable menu for most shows and let us royally entertained you every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Glee Club Nottingham
Following an extensive refurbishment of the handsome British Waterways Building on Canal Street we have created 2 purpose built comedy rooms plus the ground floor Cafe Glee which serves choice food and drinks throughout the day and before/after shows. With a launch season of live comedy that included performances from Rich Hall, Shappi Khorsandi, Kevin Bridges, Andy Parsons, Gina Yashere, Lee Evans, Jon Richardson, Angelos Epithemiou and more The Glee Club is the home of live comedy Nottingham has always missed. Glee Nottingham presents regular 4 act line-ups every Friday and Saturday, the Thursday Food & Comedy Special on the last Thursday of every month, comedy tour shows and much more - all in a top class venue purpose built for live comedy.
Glee Club Oxford
A comedy room up there with the best. A perfect size for live comedy it's a room that evokes that true club feeling with it's low ceiling and warm cloaking atmosphere. With a club menu, ample bar plus late lounging downstairs with our friends at Wahoo the city of Oxford has finally got the professional comedy club it deserves.
