Matt Hardy, aka High Voltage or Ignis Fatuus, is an American wrestler working for WWE.

Sadly, he won’t be performing at the Glee.

But our Matt Hardy – a comedian and comedy writer, regarded as the first Australian to cement himself full-time on the live UK circuit –will.

In 2007 Sony BMG released Matt's debut DVD/CD, entitled 'I'm So Australian'. Based around a series of sly, sarcastic one-liners regarding what it takes to be Australian, this show was recorded before a live audience at The National Theatre.

He has also written a best selling book published by Random House, Saturday Afternoon Fever, looking at life as a supporter of St Kilda Football Club in the 1980s. The book formed the basis of a sell-out multi-media one-man show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Matt once wrote for FHM magazine and numerous TV credits include a sketch series he created which was nominated at Montreaux's International Golden Rose Awards in 1999.

Matthew was seen on Australian television as the host of the tonight show, The Big Schmooze on the comedy channel, with co-host Kate Langbroek and Dave O’Neill. He has regularly appeared as a panellist on The Fat (100% Tony Squires) and has written for the UK television series, The Sketch Show.
