This lanky Sydneysider has the ability to ramble on any topic while delivering a succession of punch lines. Steve decided to become a comic after spending ten years as a heavy metal drummer. He was sick of sitting behind a kit while the singer hogged the limelight. He spent three years performing in all Sydney’s top comedy venues, frequently featuring at Sydney’s Comedy Store. He won the Green Faces Comedy Competition in 1997, and received second prize in the Australian Comedian of the Year 1998. He has toured extensively throughout Ireland, appearing at all the major comedy venues, including the Murphy’s Ungagged Comedy Festival, Kilarney.
