Amy Howerska

Amy Howerska is a comedian, actress and writer. She is also a Polish Irish Catholic Jew, born and raised in Wales. She is fast establishing herself as an unusual and thrilling comic voice on the UK circuit. ‘A force to be Reckoned with’ (Chortle).

This year has seen her popping up as a writer on Radio 4’s Now Show, News Jack as well as comedy programmes for Channel 4 and 5. She is also an award winning improviser as part of the touring cast of Comedians Cinema Club. Her debut Solo hour Sasspot at the Edinburgh festival was turned into a forthcoming Radio 4 extra special.

Recent acting work includes Doctors (BBC) and also a Fuck It (Vice magazine short film) directed by the award winning Destiny Ekaragha. She has also worked as promo writer for USA network for shows such as House and Burn Notice as well as British shows such as Viral Tap for ITV2.

Away from the UK Amy has performed at Altitude comedy festival in Austria and also at Gotham comedy club New York.
