In November 1993 a bunch of young lads from the north side of Dublin, including Keith Duffy, would infamously appear on ‘The Late Late Show’ and the rest, as they say…is history. By combining boyish charm with slick songwriting, Boyzone found enormous success, where 16 of their first 17 singles became Top 5 hits, not to mention the 25 Million record sales! Six of those singles made it to Number 1, establishing Boyzone as the first Irish group to top the British charts so regularly. In 2002, Keith debuted in Britain’s most successful soap, Coronation Street, as fictional character Ciaran McCarthy. Over the next nine years, Keith’s character was at the centre of several romances and key storylines.
