Wildwood Kin

Wildwood Kin are an acclaimed anglo/americana trio from Devon comprising of two sisters, Beth and Emillie Key and their cousin Meghann Loney. The music is a mix of their own beautiful and thought provoking original songs with a few stunning arrangements of some better known covers. Their voices meld perfectly in effortless and sublime close harmony and they accompany themselves on a range of acoustic instruments, inventive electronics and spectral atmospherics. Their influences include Fleet Foxes, Mumford & Sons and Fleetwood Mac and the eritings of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien.

In 2015 the girls were shortlisted for a BBC Radio Music Award and their debut single Warrior Daughter spent several weeks on the Radio 2 playlist. Their tracks have several million streams on Spotify. They also featured on every track on Seth Lakeman’s album “Ballads of the Broken Few” produced by the legendary Ethan Johns.

Having just completed a UK tour with Ward Thomas, they have a busy summer of festivals including the Avalon stage at Glastonbury and Cambridge Folk Festival. Recently signed to Sony’s newly revived ‘Silvertone’ label, their single Run shall be available from June 30th and their album Turning Tides shall follow on August 18th.

“Bucolic folk, Fleetwood Mac-like harmonies, hints of Fleet Foxes’ desolate spectral acoustica, echoes of Ben Howard’s richly textured but ramshackle sparseness and a love of Mumfords-like propulsion and explosiveness”
