From personal introspection to biting political satire via a charmingly caustic wit that would make Groucho Marx proud, for over a decade he has been dazzling audiences with this heady mix of virtuosity, boyish charm, showmanship and sheer bravado.

Nick’s most recent work has seen him appear alongside Lana Del Ray playing guitar on her cover of Leonard Cohen’s hit ‘Chelsea Hotel No 2’ from her album Ultraviolence, as well as appearing on recordings from Newton Faulkner, Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) and The Levellers.

Son of the legendary UK singer-songwriter Roy Harper, he played guitar from the age of 10 and was surrounded by Keith Moon, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and Dave Gilmour as he grew up. Upon a chance meeting with Squeeze frontman and songwriter Glenn Tilbrook, he was offered a job playing with and supporting Squeeze and promptly signed to Quixotic Records. Glenn produced Nick’s Smithereens album.

Nick is pleased to announce a special 12″ vinyl titled The Wilderness Years Vol. 2 featuring tracks from his acclaimed studio albums Blood Songs, Treasure Island and Miracles for Beginners to be released in October. The record is the second in a three part series that marks the first time Nick’s back catalogue has been released on vinyl and will culminate in a very special limited edition box set of all three compilation vinyls set for release on Record Store Day 2016 with a special companion book.

‘His concert performances are prodigiously rocking, soulfully operatic, tenderly concerned, politically disaffected, waggishly witty, virtuosic magnificence… a colossal talent’
