It’s twenty years since Sean Collins first stepped on the stage. Here he talks about the stories that have basically molded him into the comic and person he is today. From recounting back to his first amateur nights in Canada till now, travelling the world, seeing the good, the bad, and the ugly so to speak.
Discussing opportunities that have been missed, the weird gigs and friends made along the way; the highs and lows. From being introduced to drugs and eventually settling down to become a husband and father.
Sean Collins began comedy in 1990 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Trained and working as a child counsellor on the Psychiatric Unit at Sick Kids Hospital in Vancouver Sean is able to grab material and stories from his own personally bizarre life. Sean developed into a “storyteller” and loves to bring people into his own life through his honesty on stage.
Sean recently filmed a documentary film with fellow Canadian Comics Craig Campbell and Tom Stade. The film was shot at the Glastonbury festival.
