Big beats and stand-up comedy join forces for late night antics. Adam Flood brings an experimental night of electronic music and live comedy to Glasgow Glee after sellout hyped shows at Edinburgh Fringes and performances at festivals around the world such as Green Man and Altitude Festival. Think Boiler Room does stand-up.

Award winning comedian Adam Flood is a stand-up, writer, actor and (failed) musician.

Originally from Stoke-on-trent, Adam started stand-up in 2018 and in one year was nominated for the BBC New Comedy Award in 2019, performing live on BBC Radio 4. Throughout the 2020 lockdowns he made online sketches across the handle @floodhaha racking hundreds of thousands of views. Navigating the government rules around performing live, he hosted live comedy shows from a barber shop window into the street attracting crowds of hundreds each show featuring comics such as Josie Long, Eshaan Akbar and Sam Campbell.

Back on the circuit, in 2022 he won Bath Festival New Act of the Year, was a finalist in the NATYs and was runner-up in Leicester square Sketch Off with his sketch duo Dregs.

Adam’s first 45-minute work in progress during Edinburgh 2022 was a breakout success. Selling over 1,000 tickets, the show Adam Flood: Clayhead was nominated for Most Outstanding Show in the Amused Moose Comedy Awards and was nominated for best poster in the Comedy Poster Awards, all setting him up for an exciting debut hour in 2023.

He is a high-energy, observational comedian with a twist of the surreal using enthusiastic act outs, vocal effects, samples, short songs and crowd work to keep the audience on their toes.

As an actor he has been in two yet to be released comedy shorts with executive producer Hannah Moulder, one short starring Amy Gledhill and the other starring Luke McQueen and Nick Helm.
