Amanda Hursy is a fresh voice to the comedy circuit.

Amanda was Award-nominated at the Leicester Comedy Festival and the winner of the Edinburgh fringe panel prize award with ‘ Best in Class’.(2024)

Her debut Edinburgh hour CARTED reached critical acclaim ( 2025 ) with her jokes also appearing in the top 10 jokes of the fringe.

Amanda’s writing work has also featured on BBCs breaking the news and she is currently in the running for the David McLennan award with her first playwright for ‘ play a pie and a pint ‘.
