Hailing from small-town Western Australia, winner of Best Newcomer Chortle award 2020 Brodi Snook has been making wavelengths across the UK and Australian comedy circuit.

She began her comedy career as a two-time RAW Comedy state finalist in Australia, then made her mark on the international stage, reaching the finals of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Brodi Snook returned to the Fringe in 2019 with her debut solo show Handful, which made it onto the UK Telegraph’s list of Best Comedy Shows; additionally, she was named in their Top 40 Jokes of the festival. Handful continued to tour across Australia in 2021, selling out venues across Melbourne, Sydney and Perth Comedy Festivals.

In 2020, Brodi appeared on Australia’s Channel 10 and the Comedy Channel as part of Sydney’s Just For Laughs festival, recorded at the infamous Sydney Opera house. Snook went on to join the writing cast from Australian sketch comedy series Kinne Tonight; she supported Ardal O’Hanlon on his 2019/20 UK tour and has performed runs in Norway and Switzerland.

UK credits include The Arts Hour New Year International Comedy Show (BBC World Service) BBC New Comedy Awards (BBC Radio4 Extra)

Supporting Randy Feltface.

‘Snook could well be going places’

The Telegraph

‘A sharp comic with an astringent wit & jagged attitude’

Chortle (UK)

‘Lovely, smart, understated stuff from a future star.’

Ardal O’Hanlon
