Emil Wakim: My Way (14+)The Glee Club Glasgow

An hour of stand-up about trying to make sense of things—family, belief, materialism, and whatever we’re all supposed to care about right now. My Way follows Emil Wakim as he circles questions of identity, guilt, and the quiet pressure of living in the 21st century, where everything feels urgent and nothing feels fully real. It’s about spirituality, an unraveling world, and the small, everyday things people do just to feel okay—shedding old beliefs, picking up new ones, and never quite trusting any of them.

My Way – Tour 2026

An hour of stand-up about trying to make sense of things—family, belief, materialism, and whatever we’re all supposed to care about right now. My Way follows Emil Wakim as he circles questions of identity, guilt, and the quiet pressure of living in the 21st century, where everything feels urgent, and nothing feels fully real. It’s about spirituality, an unravelling world, and the small, everyday things people do just to feel okay—shedding old beliefs, picking up new ones, and never quite trusting any of them.

Emil Wakim is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor based in Brooklyn, New York. Emil made history as the first Lebanese-American cast member of Saturday Night Live, where his stand-out Weekend Update appearances earned him international acclaim during SNL’s milestone 50th season.

Emil has also been seen on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Don’t Tell Comedy, and Comedy Central. He was selected as a New Face of Comedy at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and was named one of Vulture’s Comedians You Should and Will Know.

“Wakim’s material allows audiences to laugh at the current state of the world in a way that’s both sincere and satisfying. In that way, it feels almost rebellious.”
