In 2003, Steve stood up, unchained himself from his desk and walked out of a mind-numbing logistics job (after handing in his contracted 1 month notice) in order to persue a career in comedy – and has never looked back.

Within months of his comedic birth he made it through to the semi-finals of the BBC New Comedian of the Year, the North West  Comedian of the Year Final, and later that year he had the honour of appearing on the BBC7 Radio Showcase Spanking New.

Since then he has added to his list of accolades by being named the Holsten Pils Comedian of the Year 2005, and the Birmingham Comedy Festival’s best breaking talent 2005.

Steve has had a regular breakfast show on the commercial station 96.2 Revolution FM, has guest-presented the North West television show City Life Social, and was commissioned to write a series of sketches for the Channel M station about Manchester life, named Manchester Montages.
