Award-winning comedian, best-selling author and in-demand festival favourite Jeff Green returns to The Glee Club Birmingham in May 2026 for one night only.

The prolific comic is back for the first time since 2008 for one intimate performance in the Studio space.

Never failing to captivate audiences of ALL AGES with his high-energy brand of hilarious stories, chock-full of rapid-fire punchlines and killer observations, Jeff performs on Saturday 23 May 2026. And with Jeff’s previous UK shows selling out fast, comedy-lovers are advised to snap up tickets while they can!

Jeff has never looked back since starting out on the London Comedy scene in 1988, when he tossed in his Birmingham University educated engineering career for the life of a comedian. Since then he’s entertained audiences all over the world and remains hugely in demand in Australia where he now resides.

His impressive stand-up comedy background includes a solo West-End season, three full length UK TV comedy specials, two Australian TV comedy specials, and countless appearances on TV gala specials and comedy panel shows.

Also a best-selling author, Jeff’s books have sold over 300,000 copies. In the UK, his BBC Radio 2 show The Green Guide To Life attracted audience averages of over three million listeners, while his TV appearances include two seasons of Celebrity Masterchef, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, as well as too many Comedy panel show appearances to list.

With this stellar, decades-long career behind him it’s safe to say this much-loved stand-up comic is one not to miss.

What Jeff says to expect from his upcoming comedy set at The Glee Club:

‘I came up doing comedy in the 1980’s, the old school way – in dark, smoky rooms in basements, rooms above pubs, anywhere you could legally fit a group of people, or not! Those crowds – office workers, media types, wide eyed tourists, off duty West End performers came to laugh because they needed to laugh, Britain in the 80’s was brutal and comedy was their release valve. My theatre shows have always tried to capture what that was like, the vibe, the traditional joke structure, the raucous energy of those early UK comedy clubs and bring it to life, so audiences can touch it and feel where my performance roots come from and go home themselves, sore with laughter.’
